Band: Twelve Gauge

St. Paul, Minnesota / USA

My hats off to Arni for getting this website together and making us feel a little less alone in the music world. There is nothing more frustrating than walking into a big music store full of all kinds of right handed guitars, and not being able to play any of them. Good luck in most of them carrying even a few left handed instruments. It sort of makes a person feel left out or disenfranchised. Even worse is if you get some spontaneous chance of sitting in with a band in some club or bar, and then not being able to because you cannot just pick up someone's regular instrument and play. You really feel left out when that happens...

I play bass in a heavy metal band called Twelve Gauge. Twelve Gauge formed from the members of a previous band called "Warhead" that broke up back in 1994. We formed in summer 2001 fresh with new ideas and have been working on material for a CD to be finished by summer 2002. We specialize in stripped back punkish metal with touches of anything from all out speed/death metal to the old school NWOBHM(New wave of British Heavy Metal) sound.

My main bass influences are (but not limited to): Lemmy (Motorhead), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Cronos (Venom), Harley Flanagan (Cro-Mags)
